i really like this song =]

and summer is ending...and that's just depressing

but what can u do?

grit your teeth and hope this school year will be better than the last...

...but for you fellow rockbridgers: i won't be at schedule pickup day...i gotta go back to Michigan again...but this time its not for vacation

i really hope this isn't a sign of how the rest of the year will go

sad: 1 year ago today...

yes, i'm very sad because today i woke up in my bed in columbia missouri, and exactly one year ago, (well minus a few hours) i was waking up an american airlines business class flight a little less than thirty minutes from london, merely hours away from the beginning of probably the best experience of my life. Here's my journal from that day:

7/5/06  7:42am

The flight was good, I'm still on it but it's only about 27 minutes until we land London. All the food they served was really good, but the flight attendant/server on our side was really rude. he always talked to me like I was an idiot. He would always cut me off as I was ordering something, so I would wait for him to actually ask me since he'd cut me off, and he would just stare at me like i was an idiot. I did not like me at all.

---to this day i remember what he looked like, sounded like and acted like...evil flight attendant and his stupid spiky black hair

But he has this really annoying voice and once when he left to get Em and I more orange juice, i leaned in and whispered to her: "ok, remind me later and i'll do a really good imitation of him." It was funny :)

---ok, so you kinda had to be there, but it was still funny

I managed to get a full nights sleep without waking up during it at all. Unfortunately, in Columbia int's around two in the morning so, i still feel kinda tired. Wow, my first jetlag experience. We have about 18 minutes till we land. Ugh, i miss my bed. It's weird to think that all my friends are fast asleep right now, over 3944 miles away, and i'm about to land in london, i am officially out of the country. 11 minutes, re estimated to get in at 8:09am. Yawn # 12. I want some coffee really bad, that's another thing: when the flight attendant came around with the coffee, he didn't even ask if emily or I wanted any, like it's impossible for "kids" to like coffee. Ugh, i don't like it, that's an understatement mister. We're descending. Em and I are looking out the window for Big Ben or the London Bridge but we can't see anything but clouds. bye!

yeah, kinda lame i know, but hey, just reminiscing here

dear mom

i'm sorry i'm not good enough, and that i probably never will be

but at least i'm passionate about something that doesn't involve school

and i'm happy

and that's a hell of a lot more than i can say about you

just geting up for the letdown

& baby don't follow their lead

cuz you never know just how the story ends

or how the story goes

and you are so confused

and baby its just like you

to say anything else...

one day you'll sing it ouloud, one day this'll make you proud...

but i know it's never good enough

twelve days left of school, and a couple months ago i decided that i'm done trying to proove shit to a bunch of people who don't even matter to me. i'm really looking forward to summer and rockbridge and hopefully i'll get away from assholes who think they're better than everyone else.

* * *

ok, just had to rant a litttle. but i am looking forward to rockbridge, and i'm really excited that my homeslice got some sence knocked into her and transfered =] but before sophmore year (!) is SUMMER. blissful, sweet, freedom. but of course, before summer comes finals which is code for, we're all about to get screwed over by our teachers and ourselves. erk.

happy studying

so...

2007 is really sucking so far. and while i could sit here and name all the things that have gone wrong, and the most recent thing, i won't, because that would be pessimistic and i'm trying to work on that. so let's think of positive things shall we.
